A Tribute To
WALTER DAVIS

Walter bought his first Model A, a 1931 Tudor (two door), in the summer of 1940. He has owned his present 1931 Fordor (four door) for the last 17 years.

Walter was in the Army Air Force during World War II as a bombardier on board a B-24. He served in the Southwest Pacific in the 380th Bomb Group, known as the "Flying Circus." He retired from the Air Force at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Although Walter was 88 on October 5th 2009, he was still very active in the Lakeland Region Model A Club and drove his Model A to most of the events.

A heart attack and other physical problems has forced Walter to move to Georgia to live with his daughter. (His Model A is already in Georgia.)

Walter is a unique person and will be missed by everyone in the club who knows him.
